Graffham Parish Council’s final full meeting of 2025
Graffham Parish Council’s final full meeting of 2025 will be held in the Pavilion (not the Empire Hall as originally planned) on Tuesday 25 November at 6.30pm.
Published: 24 November 2025
The revised plans for The Woodcote are NOT on the agenda – they will be discussed at a meeting of the parish council’s planning committee, a date and venue for which will be confirmed shortly. Watch this space.
Among the key points on the agenda for this week’s meeting are updates on:
- The proposed merger with neighbouring East Lavington.
- Traffic calming measures in and around the village.
- The draft Graffham village plan.
- The potential provision of allotments for the community.
- A donation to the local Foodbank.
- Responding to helicopter movements close to footpaths in the parish.
- Graffham Parish Council’s new website.
- St Giles’ closed churchyard.
- Recreation Ground bookings and finance.
- Checking and servicing the village’s defibrillators.
- Policy and process for writing to residents about trimming overgrown hedges.
A resolution will be proposed to enable the parish council’s grant to the Recreation Ground (originally to be used solely for the previous play facility) to be spent at the discretion of the Recreation Ground Committee.
It will also be noted that an official notice for vacancies for parish councillors had been posted on 8 October 2025, and, with no election requested, the parish council can now therefore co-opt as required.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting and may make representations or raise questions on issues included on the agenda, a full copy of which can be viewed at http://graffham-pc.gov.uk/…/Agenda-Full-Parish-Council… (opens in new tab)
