Key village assets

Graffham is blessed with some wonderful village assets - its shop, Empire Hall, Recreation Ground with its Pavilion and Play Park and more. Follow the links below to find out more about them.

Graffham Village Shop: Open every day and stocking everything you might need, with a cafe offering coffee, tea, cakes and bakes, sandwiches, snacks and much more.

Empire Hall:  At the centre of village life since 1907, the ‘grand old lady of Graffham’ is today the venue for many community activities and events, including concerts and movie nights.

Recreation Ground and Pavilion:  The spacious sports ground is home to many of Graffham’s sports clubs with wonderful facilities.

Play Park: The village’s play park was rebuilt and reopened in late 2024.

War Memorial:  Honouring the 34 men from the village who gave their lives in World Wars I and II.

Lavington Stud and Estate:  650 acres of privately-owned farm meadows and woodland on the Downs, being restored to encourage Sussex’s native flora and fauna.

Graffham Archive:  A repository for pictures, maps, documents and everything relating to the village’s past.
