Hilary Major

Hilary Major was co-opted back onto Graffham Parish Council as a councillor in March 2026 after serving in this capacity for several years previously,  A long-term and active member of the village, she has volunteered over the years as the council’s footpath warden, Secretary of Graffham Recreation Ground Committee, Tower Captain of St Giles’ bellringers and as a leading light of Graffham Tennis Club.

She monitors that  hedges and verges are appropriately cut back to keep roads and rights of way safe for all users, and serves as the parish council’s trustee on the management committee of the Empire Hall.
