Graffham Infant School has a long history – founded by the Rector of St Giles in the 1850s. It has one of only two Grade II listed school buildings in the diocese. It merged with Duncton Junior School to become the Lavington Park Federation in 2005.
With the two just three miles apart, they work in conjunction with each other, with the same headteacher and the same governing body.
They are both affiliated to the Church of England – and highly rated in their latest reviews and assessments.
They offer ‘wraparound’ care for parents leaving for work early or returning late.
A nursery operates from the Graffham premises, too.
Graffham and partner Duncton Schools describe themselves as “small schools in the heart of the South Downs, deeply connected to our surroundings and our local community and taking pride in fostering meaningful relationships with families, friends, and neighbours, creating a strong sense of belonging for all”.
