Graffham Down Trust

A volunteer-run organisation dedicated to preserving and protecting areas of open downland on hills above Graffham.

Graffham Down Trust aims to conserve, enhance, and reintroduce native flora and wildlife species that are at risk of extinction or significant decline.

It looks after 77 acres of reserves which are home in particular to rare butterflies and moths, small mammals and flowers.

It hosts nature walks and picnics and various fund-raising events – along with working parties regularly to keep vegetation in check, when there’s invariably tea, coffee, cake and the occasional barbeque.
