Parish Councillor - Highways, rights of way, environment and minerals.

Colin Barker

I was born and brought up in a small village before attending art college and then became a professional photographer in the advertising industry, based in London.

Although it was certainly fun working from our Camden studio, the lure of village life and a love of rural ways meant that one day we knew would return to the countryside and become part of a vibrant village community – which we achieved here in wonderful Graffham, where we’ve now lived since 2003.

Joining Graffham Parish Council in 2020 has certainly enabled me to become more involved in the village.  I serve as the council’s lead on highways and rights of way issues, and ensure that footpaths and bridleways are maintained and kept clear, and I also cover environment and minerals matters.
